Establish an Owner Risk Profile while you can still impact it.

The second stage of Value Maturity is about protecting what the owner already has. That means de-risking the business in case something goes wrong as well mitigating business and personal asset risk. Review your ownership structure for asset protection, tax efficiency, and optimum transfer value and tax strategy for third party, family, employees or management transitions.  The stage also includes personal financial planning to ensure assets are invested appropriately and to identify what assets will be needed post transition. Establish an Owner Risk Profile at least 18-24 months out to determine what assets are available to support growth.

Change the outcome. –Chris
